Autumn 2019
If you stop working at ING, you cease to build up pension in ING CDC Pensioenfonds. And if you then join a new employer’s pension plan, you may opt to transfer your pension accrual. This is referred to as a value transfer.
No matter why you’re leaving the company, ending your employment will have an impact on your pension. If you're leaving for a new job, you’ll probably join a different pension plan. In that case, you can transfer your pension in ING CDC Pensioenfonds to your new pension fund or insurer.
Less than € 484.09 per year
If your pension will pay out less than € 484.09 (pre-tax) per year when you retire, ING CDC Pensioenfonds will transfer the value of your pension to your new employer’s pension fund. This is referred to as an ‘automatic value transfer’. You don’t need to take any action for this. Automatic value transfer is convenient if you have small pension accruals in multiple pension funds. Your current pension fund will bundle these small pensions into one large amount. Before the pension fund transfers your pension, you’ll be duly informed. After the transfer, you’ll no longer have a pension in ING CDC Pensioenfonds.
The pre-tax amount is adjusted annually in line with current tax regulations.
