Workshop ‘Insight into your pension’’ for employees made redundant

Have you been made redundant, or will you soon be? The new workshop ‘Insight into your pension’ is open for registration via ING Learning Centre (ILC). This workshop will answer your questions on what you need to do when you leave the company, the adequacy of your pension and the financial impact of any of the pension options available to you.

The new workshop ‘Insight into your pension’ has been set up to help you understand your pension plan in ING CDC Pensioenfonds and (for some of you) Pensioenfonds ING. You will be guided through the steps you need to take when you leave the company. And you’ll learn how to use the Pension Planner.

Topics covered at the workshop:

  • Dutch state pension (AOW) and other basic terms relating to pension.
  • Your pension plan (or plans) at ING.
  • What changes in your pension when you leave employment.
  • Life events that have an impact on your pension.
  • Pension options you can make use of.
  • The Pension Planner.

At the end of the workshop, you'll know:

  • How to determine your AOW Dutch state pension retirement age.
  • The basic outlines of the pension plan(s).
  • How your departure from the company will affect your pension.
  • Which important life events will affect your pension.
  • Which pension options are most relevant.
  • Your expected level of expenditures after your retirement.
  • Whether your total expected retirement income will cover your expenditures.
  • How to make calculations with the help of the Pension Planner.
